楽しいイースター Fun at easter

イースターの連休、保育園もスーパーもどこもかしこもお休みだし、パパはいないし、友だちは東京かコペンハーゲンだし・・・ああどうしよう・・と思っていた私とぐーちゃんに、またもやぐーちゃんの彼女・ヴィルテちゃんのママから救いの手が！

ヴィルテちゃんのママ、ドヴィレさんは、デンマークとも縁深い国、リトアニア出身。イースターは、リトアニアではとっても大きな行事だそう。家族みんなで、卵に繊細な絵をつけるのが恒例で、デンマークに来てからもかかさず続けているそう。

メグミ、一緒に卵に絵を描かない？リトアニア風パンケーキも焼くわよ～、とお誘いしてくれました！

ぐーちゃんは、絵付けよりも、ヴィルテちゃんのお兄ちゃん、スィモンくんの持っている車のおもちゃに夢中！誰にもさわらせないよくばりくんでした・・・・。
ヴィルテちゃんは、お兄ちゃんのお下がりの、車プリントのパンツがなぜかお気に入りで、そればかり着たがるの・・・とママはちょっと困ってました。笑　しかも、なぜかヘルメットまで装着したがるおちゃめなヴィルテちゃんです。

リトアニア風・イースター卵の絵付け方法は、ろうそくの灯りをともし、その溶けたろうを針先につけて、ささっ！ささっ！と卵に絵を描いていくというもの。熟練した絵付けをする家族もいるそう。けっこう難しく、ドヴィレさんの慣れた手つきと美しい模様の卵にびっくり！

そして、ろうで模様がつけられた卵ちゃんたちを、紫キャベツで色をつけたお湯の入っているおなべにひたして・・・・

It was so cozy and fun at Vilte(Gustav's girl freind♥)'s home :-)

We painted eggs according to Lithuanian tradition! Vilte's mommy Dovile is from Lithuania and she taught me how to paint eggs in traditional and beautiful way.

You use needle, and dip into melting candle and draw pattern on egg. And then put the egg in the pot where you put coloured water (Dovile used purple cabbages, to make it coloured naturally and beautifully)

It was not easy to paint nicely but also very fun :-)The eggs in the pictures are painted by Dovile and she gave them to me....thank you....♥

So many funny things were going on everywhere too! Gustav was so much into cars which Vilte's brother Simon has and didn't let anyone to touch the cars......... Vilte was painting and hanging rabbit, making pancake with mommy (with her favorite helmet on:-)).......♥

Dovile used Japanese traditional paper "Chiyogami" (you can get them at Uguisu onlinshop ;-)) to make small eggs to decorate. It was a very good idea and looked beautiful.

As every easter, Jacob is sailing and not home and I was wondering what to do alone with Gustav........but we had such a nice easter, first real easter! Thank you Dovile and the sweet family...
